A successful weekend for the IFA team at the Foundations of Legacy Symposium

The IFA team was honoured to serve as the Academic Authority at the Foundations of Legacy Symposium, bringing together leading scholars and practitioners to discuss the future of zakah governance and its application in contemporary contexts.

Our role extended beyond the symposium itself. As Academic Authority, the IFA is now leading the scholarly process of consolidating the discussions, evidences, and deliberations into a comprehensive Zakah Standard that will provide authoritative guidance for institutions, scholars, and practitioners.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the scholars, delegates, and especially our rapporteur team, whose meticulous documentation of every session forms the foundation of this important work.

The symposium may have concluded, but the work continues. We look forward to sharing further developments as the IFA advances this landmark project towards the publication of the Zakah Standard.
