IFA at the Islamic Finance News UK Forum 2024

9 September 2024·6 Rabiʻ I 1446

Saad Hussain, legal counsel to the IFA panel, and Shaqib Juneja, from the IFA leadership team, attended the 2024 Islamic Finance News (IFN) UK Forum — making the case for IFA's role in the sector as an independent advisory board.

IFA believes the UK would benefit from an independent Islamic finance board: not simply a panel of scholars, but one that also brings together industry experts and experienced practitioners from across the field. While many organisations run their own Shari'ah boards, an independent board lets the sector be governed without conflict of interest — so the Islamic principles of trade, business, investment and finance are applied justly and without compromise.
